History of building the hotel
Here you will see a small documentation of work proceedings from last few months. This empty and not renovated building became the ’Alt Görlitz’ hotel. We begin first with new photos.

From 03.05.2010
During last three weeks have been a lot of done. The scaffolding has been removed and the façade is ready. Outside (almost) everything is finished, the eating place is ready to use. On the 01.05.2010 we were celebrating pre-opening. Some of our guests tested our new rooms. There is still to do, and everything is on right way and we are optimistic!

Soon will be end: everything dependences from plan; there are a bit backlog; actually, everything manageable, only if you give everything from yourselves.

The façade is getting a becoming shape
The eating room is bricked up and the roof is done.
The roof will be isolated.

On the other side the roof is tiled, at the front is still to do 
The windowsills are inbuilt
On the roof the floor will be covered with the stone floor and the decorations form floor will be took off. 
The eating room will be 50 cm higher 
…and because of that must be removed a small part of the old roof
At the ending celebration, there are serious conversations with the architect…
…later, for relax a glass of a good wine
The reception desk will be build- in the morning it looks like that…

The tiler is working also on Saturday

The investor dared to go on the scaffolding.

After covering the floor with the stone floor in baths, the work will be in progress!

The beautiful, old and massive door is burnt off already and is waiting in a dry place for further processing…
